Bad news – Arsenal hero ruled out for three months

Injuries, Premier League

Former Arsenal player Tomas Rosicky injury problems continue as his Sparta Prague dream has turned into a nightmare, with the player being ruled out for three months (sounds familiar).

Despite his great potential, Rosicky never really hit enough consistency at The Emirates, and it seems as though his injury woes still continue to plague what could have been a great career.

In his last season with Arsenal he featured in just one match under manager Arsene Wenger and was out for the majority of the season due to injury, them the 36-year-old ace returned to Prague, the club where he started his professional career in the 1998.

So many Arsenal fans out there including me would love to see Rosicky play again, but sadly, his injury problems show no sign of letting up.

Sparta interim manager David Holoubek was quoted by The Express as saying:

“Thomas is feeling wounded right now. He will train but only in the gym, preparing individually. In autumn you should probably not expect to see him…”

It’s thought that the Czech international won’t play until 2017 now, and he has only played once since joining Sparta Prague, coming off the bench to play the last 18 minutes against Mlada Boleslav.
