Henry reacts to Arsenal 1-0 victory over Burnley – fans will like this
Premier League October 3, 2016After a frustrating 90 minutes at Burnley some fans would be forgiven for switching their TV off or leaving the game early as it looked like we’d dropped two points on the road. It wasn’t our best performance of the season, but the late, controversial goal made sure all that was forgotten has Laurent Koscielny somehow bundled in the winner in the 92nd minute.
Alexis Sanchez was probably our best player and created a host of chances, and despite recent better performances of late, Theo was also not quite at the races, although he did have a hand in our goal.
Some Arsenal fans have short memories and took to Twitter to voice their disappointment about Theo, saying that he’d gone back to his old ways:
Walcott back to his usual self. Only 36 passes. Dragged down the entire team performance. Key player for Sanchez to play upfront.

However, this is surely not the way to support your team, you need to get behind the boys ‘we win together, we lose together’ being the ArsenalShorts motto.
Thierry Henry was already talking about Arsenal winning the league after the slim victory on the road, a player who knows too well about controversial handballed goals.
Henry said on Sky Sports via thesportreview after the game: “I don’t know if you can say they deserved it in terms of the way they played, but those are the types of games you have to win if you want to be champions. No one will remember in May how you won against Burnley – it’s three points. I don’t think they played amazingly but those are the types of games you have to win…”
Arsenal are now third in the Premier League table just behind Spurs and Man City, so let’s hope this good run continues. We have a few home games now, while Spurs and Man City have difficult games coming up, so fingers crossed we can keep up the pressure and keep our unbeaten run going…
Tottenham last won the top flight league in 1961.
