Done deal: BBC confirms club complete midfielder signing

According to the report from BBC, Arsenal legend Tomas Rosicky has officially completed a move to return to his first club Sparta Prague on a two-year deal.

The Czech international defender spent a decade with the North London outfit before he left this summer when his contract expired, with 246 appearances for Arsenal since he joined the club.

Rosicky’s pacey, clever movement, brilliant technique and top-quality finishing was a joy to watch but sadly, he was another player who’s career was blighted by many injuries, and he never quite fulfilled his potential under Arsene Wenger, despite absolute wondergoals like this one:

He recently captained his country at the recent European Championships in France, before bowing out with another injury.

…and this one:

The 35-year-old ace played for Prague from 99-2001, before moving to Dortmund, then arrived at Arsenal five years later, and the rest as they say, is history.

Good luck Super Tom!
