The second most popular Arsenal fan site Arseblog claimed last night that the Spaniard has agreed a deal with the North London outfit to scupper the attempts of Manchester City and Barcelona to lure the Spaniard away from The Emirates. The report claims the deal was proposed after Manchester City’s. then new manager Pep Guardiola made an offer for Bellerin in the summer.
Last week, it was reported by Spanish outlet Sport that Barcelona had “direct information” from Arsenal, that the Spanish international will sign a new deal in “one or two weeks”.
A report in The Times also claim the 21-year-old ace has been offered a deal that will see him remain at the Emirates Stadium for five years and his salary will increase to almost double what he earns now, taking his weekly salary up to around £96,000 a week from £51,000.
Over recent months, the Spanish international’s performances have been impressive and his dazzling footwork has made him the best right-back in the Premier League over the last 12 months.
