Arsenal fans on Twitter want Wenger to sign Daniel Sturridge, after striker misses Liverpool’s match
Despite confirmation from Arsene Wenger today regarding the transfer of Lucas Perez, Danny Welbeck remains injured, Theo may as well be injured, so this could still mean Le Boss is still considering bringing in yet another forward.
Despite Arsenal closing in on the Perez deal, Arsenal fans were quick to jump on the link to Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge claiming Wenger should sign the ace, according to the report from Metro.
The 26-year-old ace has admitted he is frustrated playing wide under Jurgen Klopp and is struggling to find a starting berth under the German so far this season. The England international was linked with a move to The Emirates in January but Wenger failed to push forward a deal to sign the ace.
It is expected that the Spaniard Perez will bring Giroud vast competition in the starting line up, and there is no doubt he’d be the perfect foil to the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
After completing the signings of Perez and Mustafi the Gunners spending in the window will be close to £100m but Arsenal fans still aren’t happy, and want a bid for Sturridge.

It remains to be seen whether we’re done in the market this summer, with just a week left of the window, my gut feeling is we’re not, and there’s still room for one more coming in!
