Update: Alexis and Rambo Return, while trio due back on Monday

Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey have both returned to full training today as the squad prepares for our final warm up games this weekend. This just leaves Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny to return, these three are expected back on Monday.

We face Viking on Friday evening in Norway, and then we play Man City in Gothenburg on Sunday a week before our first Premier League game on the 14th of August where we face Liverpool at home.

One player who won’t be flying to Norway is Jack Wilshere, the knee injury he picked up in the States has ruled him out of the games, but Arsene Wenger hopes he will be back in time to play a part for the Liverpool game. Santi Cazorla may also be involved in the Liverpool game, but it’s not known yet in what capacity.

Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck are still the long term asbentees, so here’s hoping AW is doing all he can to find a replacement for them ahead of what promises to be an amazing season. Please God, make it so.
