Arsenal close in third signing, as reliable source confirms Higuain will join Arsenal

As Arsenal fans wait with bated breath for the announcement of the signing of Gonzalo Higuain, a report from Napoli’s official radio station, Radio Kiss Kiss has all but confirmed that the striker will join Arsenal this summer.

Arsene Wenger has been on the verge of landing a striker after missing out on Jamie Vardy. However, the French manager is said to be not ready to give up trying to sign the striker so many Arsenal fans want.

However, Napoli’s radio station reckon that the Italian club will prefer sell the striker outside of the country rather than selling to their rivals, although Juventus have agreed to pay the more money to land the Argentine international.

Meanwhile, the radio station claim that the north Londoners are ready to use their top striker Olivier Giroud as a make-weight plus €50m cash to seal the deal, which is said to be still less than the cash amount Juventus are reportedly willing to pay.

No one really knows just how much truth is behind these reports so we will have to wait for few weeks more to see the truth, but I personally think if Arsenal finally completes the signing of Higuain it will be a sensational signing for the Gunners and a huge boost ahead of what promises to be an amazing season in the Premier League.

Kiss Kiss radio is reportedly, an ‘official media outlet’ for Napoli Football Club, which means the story could hold some truth, but personally I find it hard to believe will allow Giroud to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, leaving us short of a striker, still, watch this space.
