Good news for Arsenal as club agree to sale 36 goal hitman

After manager Arsene Wenger missed out on Leicester city’s striker Jamie Vardy last month he is searching for an alternative to solve his striker problem ahead of next season.

Despite the report that Serie A club, Juventus, are ready to offer big money for Gonzalo Higuain, it seems as though Napoli does not want to sell their player to a rival and they would prefer to sell him to a different league.

The report from Radio CRC via SportWitness yesterday claims that Napoli would like to sell the Argentinian international abroad, but the main problem is the huge price tag placed on the player. Apparently, the negotiation with Juventus is not going on well which is of course good news for Arsenal.

One report from Italy claimed that the Higuain had already agreed personal terms with Juventus, an offer which would net the striker around €8 million per year, but Napoli stand firm on their word that the player should be sold abroad. It’s also thought that Napoli are rumoured to be ready to sell him for a price lesser than €94 million if he goes abroad.

Another report on Italian radio yesterday lunchtime claimed Arsenal had agreed a €50m package plus Giroud deal for Gonzalo, a move, which if true, is sure to anger Arsenal fans, as we’d prefer Higuain AND Giroud making up our strikeforce, getting rid of Giroud would still leave us short, with DGW injured for a while yet.

If Wenger can finally land Higuain, it would be a great signing for the Gunners. Let just look at it from this angle, having Higuain up front and Sanchez, Ozil and Cazorla supporting him, the title could be a real possibility this season.
