No Deal for Vardy…

Jamie Vardy is staying at Leicester it’s been revealed this week.

The Foxes, have given him a pay rise and convinced him to stay, despite being offered a 3 year deal thought to be worth around £120,000 a week by Arsenal.

Leicester released a statement this week saying he was going to tsay and the rumours are that he either wasn’t guaranteed a starting place, or that he felt he didn’t suit our style of play.

Fair play to Vardy, showing some loyalty to the club which made him (huge pay rise I know) and good luck to him and Leicester next season – right, how much for Kante and Mahrez?

Chile 2-0 Colombia…

Alexis Sanchez got one over on his Arsenal team mate David Ospina in the Copa America semi-final.

Sanchez’s Chile will now play Argentina in the final, which Ospina isn’t bitter and said: “He’s not just a great player, he’s an excellent person. He’s showing what he is made of with his movement, competitiveness and use of the ball. I’m happy for him…”

Euro 2016 Latest…

Meanwhile, the European Championships rumble on, and there’s still some Arsenal involvement with Kos/Oli G for France, Ramsey who is playing well for Wales (GRRR…) Wilshere for England, Ozil for the Germans and Xhaka for Switzerland all find themselves in the last 16…
