The Wizard of Ozil…
Mesut Ozil has been speaking out about his contract saying he’s in no rush to sort it.
His current deal has two years to run, and he said that he’ll see what happens, but doesn’t sound like he’s going anywhere soon.
He added that Top 3 was our minimum target this season: “If we finish third and qualify directly for the Champions League we have at least achieved our minimum target, but this season it was possible to become champions, but for that we have lost too many points against small teams (Spurs and Chelsea). You can only take your hat off to Leicester, they enter every match at 100 per cent energy and therefore are rightly up there…”
Sunderland 0-0 Arsenal…
In yet another must-win game, it turned out we didn’t, but at least we didn’t lose again.
Vito Mannone made some good saves, and there were penalty appeals at both ends, waved away by the ref. In what some were calling an enthralling 0-0, the points were shared as we continue to limp towards Champions League qualification…
Arsenal 2-0 West Brom…
An atom of faith was restored as Alexis Sanchez scored twice to settle down a chaotic run of form as we took all three points against West Brom…
Other rumours of player swap deal for Theo Walcott with AC Milan and Szczesney denies he’s after a permanent move to Roma after a great season with the Italians plus there’s also the standard dodgy kits kicking aroung the blogs…
