Shorts Update – Interlull Week…

There’s not a lot going on in the Arsenal world of football this week thanks to the interlull.

RIP Johan Cruyff, who died today, quality player, who even had a move named after him. Wonder if Theo will be remembered for the Walcott Lose the Ball Down a Blind Alley? Anyway…

Everton 0-2 Arsenal…

Last weekend we managed to turn our frowns upside down with a win at Goodison Park away to Everton. Goals from DGW and man of the moment Alex Iwobi capped a good all round team performance, where we could have had more goals. Sadly, same weekend saw Leicester win again, and also Spurs claim another three points. Our game in hand against West Brom is now another must win, as Spurs come into a tougher run, anything could happen…

Gervino – money talks…

Not a lot else going on really, internationals this weekend, where several more key players will be injured, ahead of the visit of Watford next weekend to The Emirates – what can possibly go wrong, we always beat Wat— oh, wait.

More next week, have a happy Easter break Gooner(s)… before you go, have a quick look at this new site: The History of Football – the history of the game of football (soccer)…
