Qtrs Beckon… Injury Update… Thoughts…

Hull 0-4 Arsenal…
With only a draw against Spurs, and a win over Leicester in our last few games, it was vital to get back to winning ways on Tuesday afternoon at the KC Stadium.

…and we did, and we won 4-0. Giroud got two and some wonderkid called Theo who I’ve not heard of for a long time actually got two as well, and an assist, he’s got a great future ahead of him that lad, might break into the first team soon…

Watford Now Sunday…

As a result of that result, we will now play Watford in the FA Cup Quarter Final on Sunday at 1:30, meaning our league game on Saturday night will now be postponed, and we’ll have to squeeze West Brom in somewhere…

Injury Latest…

In very Arsenal fashion, we managed to lose three more players to injury during our win over Hull.

There’s a concern over Aaron Ramsey who limped off, plus Per got a smack in the head and Gabriel also went off. The latter two are meant to be ok for this weekend, but the scans on Rambo aren’t yet back, but it’s hoped he’ll be back in time to face Everton next weekend…

There’s also better news about Jack and Santi who, it’s rumoured could be back as early as April the 1st.

However, looking at our league situation pragmatically (whatever that means), forgetting about the other sides around us for a minute, and also the WBA game(!)…

Amazingly, due to the FA Cup and the international break, we only have two league games before we play West Ham away in a month’s time. If we can squirm past Watford, Barcelona is pretty much a done deal, and we can get something at Everton – why not, they’re as consistent as us, it’s then two weeks before Watford in the league which is at home. This also means by the time we go to West Ham, we could potentially have a full squad if the rumours are all true and there are no ‘setbacks’.

Cech, Koscielny, Ramsey, Santi and Jack could all be back, just leaving The Ox to come and anyone else who get’s Diabyed… exciting run-in anyone?
