A few minutes later on Flamini comes on as we need some of his magical cup goals, and off goes le Coq. Before Mat Guy Flamz, can even get one goal, let alone two, he’s screaming at Mertesacker to clear in his own box. Per panics and thinks he’s saying ‘pass to me, I’ll clear it old boy’. Before you know it, that little tax dodging midget is on it, ‘tripping over’ Flamini’s surprised, about-to-clear-leg and without even breaking stride, forward rolls and takes the penalty for 2-0.

Sadly, we had our chances but without mentioning any names, The Ox missed two, it wasn’t to be.

Game over? Unless FIFA send in the drug squad then yes, probably. Sour grapes? Definitely.
