Welbeck May Start… Elnenny Too… Wenger Almost Wengt…
Cup Team News…
It’s thought that several first team players will be rested this weekend as we aim to beat Hull in the FA Cup for the third year in a row.
Elnenny is ‘ready to start’, Koscielny will hopefully be fit after getting injured in our amazing win over Leicester last weekend, but first teamers like Ozil, Cech and Oli Giroud are probably going to be rested ahead of a small game against Barcelona next week. You can get some amazing odds on the game here at mybettingbonus.co.uk
AW said: “Elneny is fit. He is one of the players who could get a run. He’s adapting at the moment and I think he’s there now. We’ll certainly see him against Hull. He has a chance to start…”
In his presser today, AW also announced Jack Wilshere was 3-4 weeks away still…
#wenger(wasalmost)out…
Hashtag thank Bendtner for our FA Cup win over Hull two years ago. Arsene Wenger has admitted he may have been in for the sack had we not ended our trophy drought with a Cup Final win in 2014.
He said: “I don’t know, honestly, I don’t know, it was up in the air and we had to give everything to win that final. If we had lost it I don’t know. It would have been a problem if we had not won. It would have been a massive disappointment for everyone, but we won…”
He also played up the importance of the game tomorrow: “The best way to prepare for Barcelona is to beat Hull on Saturday. The momentum is important and we have to show that mentally we are capable of winning by focusing on every single game…”
Arsenal 2-1 Leicester…
In what can only be described as an amazing game of football, we came out on top thanks to a last minute winner from Danny Welbeck on his return from injury. Jamie Vardy had put the league leaders ahead from the spot after what can only be described as a dive, and after Danny Simpson was red carded after what can only be described as two yellow cards, it was a barn storming finish against ten men.
Theo Walcott scored our first (wait what?!) and as the clock ticked down, Leicester gave away what can only be described as a silly free kick, especially when Mesut Ozil was on the pitch. The German swang in the free kick and Danny Welbeck glanced the ball past the Leicester keeper who can only be described as Kaspar Schmeichel to send the home fans wild. Sadly, Spurs won in the late game at Man City, but things are perfectly poised going into the final part of the season where we still have to visit Old Trafford, the City Ground, and what can only be described as a massive shit hole where we have already won the league twice…
